Service Description

Each session will be approx. 1 hour long. This class is a practical hands-on look at life with an infant for newborn care in the first few months after birth. This includes the basics of lactation and postpartum self-care. 1. Surviving Postpartum: Postpartum care for birther, newborn soothing 2. Basic infant care: Learn about eating cues, lactation and bottle support, how to change a diaper and types of diapers, putting baby to sleep - co sleeping vs not co sleeping. 3. Growth and Development of Newborns: Developmental milestones, when to go to the doctor 4. Parenting styles - Brief introduction to four main types of parenting styles.
