Service Overview: Engage in insightful sessions, each lasting approximately 1.5 hours, as we explore the nuanced aspects of childbirth in various settings – home, hospital, or midwife facility. This practical online class delves into comfort measures during labor, postpartum experiences in the initial 6 weeks, and introduces the fundamentals of breastfeeding and newborn care (with a comprehensive newborn care class in development). This four-week, in-person course covers the following topics: - Week One: Introduction - Welcome & Introduction - Pregnancy and Labor - Week Two: Medications & Interventions - Understanding their Risks - Week Three: The Postpartum Experience & Your Newborn - Week Four: Feeding your Baby, Safe Sleep Practices, and Car Seat Essentials for Bringing Baby Home.
