Positive Discipline for Real Life: A Two-Day Parenting Workshop **Signing up for the April 23rd date includes April 24th. Start and end times are the same. Attendance on both dates is required for class credit** Join us for an engaging and supportive two-day workshop designed to help caregivers build strong, respectful relationships with young children while navigating real-life parenting challenges with confidence. On Day One, we explore the foundations of positive discipline—what it is, how it differs from punishment, and why understanding child development is key to guiding behavior. Participants will learn how to interpret the “why” behind children’s actions, support emotional regulation, and use connection-based strategies that foster cooperation and trust. Day Two turns the focus inward, recognizing that effective parenting begins with the caregiver. We’ll explore realistic self-care, managing stress and triggers, and setting healthy, consistent boundaries with children. This session also addresses co-parenting and caregiver communication, offering tools to align values, navigate differences, and create consistency across environments. This workshop is ideal for parents, caregivers, and early childhood professionals who want practical, respectful strategies that support both child development and adult well-being. Participants will leave with tools they can immediately apply to create calmer, more connected relationships at home and in their caregiving environments.
